She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Management, both from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (Brazil) and a PhD in Information Sciences and Technologies from the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL). Her research interests are related to the impact of information systems on organizations.
In the academic field, in Portugal, she is currently an assistant professor at UAL, a guest professor at ISCTE-IUL, and researcher at Information Sciences and Technologies and Architecture Research Center (ISTAR-IUL). In Brazil, she was an assistant professor and coordinator of the Graduate Program in Management at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais.
In the professional area in Portugal, she worked as a Information Systems consultant at a worldwide leading consultancy company, having participated in several international projects related to telecommunications, renewable energy and supply chain. In Brazil, she was a Public Policy Analyst for the Brazilian government and had her own company.
