Gonçalo Valadão - Ciencia Vitae

Gonçalo holds a BSc. degree in Physical Engineering, a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and a PhD in Electrotechnical and Computer Engineering, all from Instituto Superior Técnico.

Before starting postgraduate studies, he worked as an Information Systems Consultant at a worldwide leading consulting firm, having participated in several projects related to the state. In the course of these projects acquired great experience as a programmer.

He is currently an assistant professor at UAL, a guest professor at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa and a researcher at the Instituto de Telecomunicações.

He has published several articles in the areas of image reconstruction, optimization and machine learning.
